Eagle’s Nest Staff

Ashley Coker

Ashley Coker has spent the past two years digging up news and turning it into coherent sentences for the Eagle’s Nest. When she is isn’t completing her newsy duties, she mostly talks to her cat and tries to find some smidgen of direction for her life. The cat has yet to talk back and she still has about six potential college majors, but miracles happen everyday.

Bethany Bernhardt

Bethany joined Journalism because she likes writing, and is interested in different creative mediums. She’s a fan of Joss Whedon, and she spends most of her time reading and praising slightly outdated pop culture. She’s also in Art II and almost every Honors class available to her.

Bonnie Hawk

Bonnie Hawk became a member of the Eagles Nest Staff right after she discovered that she enjoyed writing, and was amazing at everything else. Her friends Amber and Bethany, both followed in her footsteps in awe of their hero. She recently ventured to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and found her calling in throwing toilet paper and cards over peoples heads.

Christy Le

Christy joined the Eagle’s Nest for kicks and because she likes to write, but mainly for kicks.  She’s in the band and is Asian if anyone’s wondering.  She may be your stereotypical, everyday Asian by taking honours in everything, but that definately doesn’t apply to Spanish.  She’s loves reading fiction books based on the supernatural and watching Warehouse 13.  She also has a deep appreciation for food.

Brin Patterson

Brin joined the Eagle’s Nest at the request of Bethany, who, of course, wanted her favorite person to be her classmate. Brin is probably the laziest person she knows and despairs every time she has something to do. She spends most of her time watching movies, talking to herself, and laughing at things that aren’t funny.

Dakota Pelfrey

Dakota joined journalism because she liked writing about stuff that matters and that interests her. In her spare time, which is pretty much always, she loves to read. In the future she hopes to have a job in the medical field.

Mister Ferrell

Mr. Ferrell was put in charge of the newspaper in 2006, when it became apparent that he knew something about arranging words and pictures together using a computing machine. He enjoys all sorts of digital geekery, including a smattering of web design, graphic design, and occasional video stuff. Sometimes he even plays a video game or two. In his spare time he teaches English and Mythology.
