Look­ing Be­yond High School

On Sat­ur­day, April 25, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Bryan Col­lege will be host­ing Look­ing Be­yond High School, “an eye-​​opening ini­tia­tive show­cas­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties for young women,” spon­sored by the Rhea County Health Coun­cil. This is a free event for any girl in grades 6–12, and you are en­cour­aged to bring moms or adult fe­male role mod­els. Come to the Bryan Col­lege Stu­dent Cen­ter and en­joy a com­pli­men­tary lunch, fash­ion show, door prizes, and view many col­lege, com­mu­nity, and busi­ness ex­hibit booths. Also en­joy lis­ten­ing to speeches from Miss Ten­nessee, Ellen Car­ring­ton, and Dr. Veron­ica Gunn. There will be dif­fer­ent ses­sions about boys, health, ed­u­ca­tion, and other im­por­tant top­ics that you can se­lect from on the pre-​​registration forms. Pre-​​Registration Forms can be found in the Guid­ance Of­fice and must be re­turned by April 15.
