The Eagle's Nest

The Rhea County High School se­nior foot­ball play­ers were rec­og­nized last Fri­day night for not only be­ing a se­niors, but also their ac­com­plish­ments at RCHS. The se­niors were es­corted by their guardians or par­ents. This was a spe­cial night for them be­cause this was the last time they will  play on Bill Hor­ton field.

• Newt Ca­gle, #45, es­corted by par­ents Todd and Tammy Ca­gle. Ca­gle was a three year starter on defense.
• Jor­dan Cox, #19, ex­corted by par­ents Greg Cox and Kathy Gar­many. Cox was a de­fen­sive starter.
• Matt Crocket, #58, es­corted by Sue Crock­ett and Doug Alley.
• Aaron Daggett, #65, es­corted by par­ents Jeff and Wendy Daggett. Daggett was a three year starter on the of­fen­sive line.
• Michael Fore, #76, es­corted by Paw Paw Pete Webb and mom Tammy Fore. Fore was a spe­cial teams starter.
• Neil “Cat­fish” Gar­ri­son, #21, es­corted by par­ents Kevin and Lisa Gar­ri­son. Gar­ri­son was a valu­able con­tributer on spe­cial teams and defense.
• Dy­lan Hen­schen, #71, es­corted by par­ents Andy and Angie Hen­schen. Hen­schen was a two year starter on defense.
• Char­lie Hes­ter, #12, es­corted by par­ents Chad Hes­ter and Shan­non Nichols. Hes­ter was a two year starter as a punter, wide re­ciever, and a de­fen­sive back.
• Cory Ki­est, # 46, es­corted by mom Lori Ki­est and Un­cle Devin Ki­est. Ki­est was a two year starter on de­fense. Nathan Kin­can­non, #88, es­corted by mom Michelle Crowdis.
• Evan Mead­ows, #74, es­corted by par­ents Richard and Peri Mead­ows. Mead­ows was a de­fen­sive starter and also se­lected to the pre-​​season All-​​State Aca­d­e­mics team.
• Jonathan Mullins, #68, es­corted by par­ents Jim and Janet Mullins. Mullins played on the de­fen­sive line.
• Caleb Price, #1, es­corted by par­ents Steve and Car­men Price. Price was a three year starter.
• Justin Rice, #5, es­corted by par­ents Robert Cald­well and Penny Rice, broth­ers Shan­non and Wes­ley Rice, and Un­cle Charles Rice. Rice was a two year starter on of­fense and defense.
• Ka­hana Size­more, #66, es­corted by par­ents Ka­hana and Denise Size­more. Size­more was a valu­able con­tributer on spe­cial teams.
• Aaron “Ap­ple” Smith, #62, es­corted by par­ents Tim Smith and Beth Skiles. Smith was a valu­able con­tributer on spe­cial teams.
