Current Scholarships

These scholarships are currently featured through the Guidance Office. Others are available throughout the year. Check with your guidance counselor to see what's available or for help with applications.

Ten­nessee 4-​​H Scholarships

Amount: $200-$1250

Who's eligible: Differs depending on scholarship choice

Many different scholarships available, such as the African-American Scholarship or FarmHouse Agricultural Scholarship.  The AGR and G. L. Herrington scholarships are due on March 1.

Rhea County 4-​​H Scholarship

Amount: $500

Who's eligible: Must have been accepted as a freshman to any college/university or technical/trade school in any major field of study; Graduating high school seniors from Rhea County; 4-H Honor Club or 4-H All Star member

BBG Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Who's eligible: Be between 16 and 21 by deadline; Answer 2 essay questions; Minimum 2.5 GPA

Amount: $500 per semester with $2000 maximum

Sun­Trust Off to Col­lege Schol­ar­ship Sweepstakes

Amount: $1,000

Who's eligible: High school seniors

Submission deadline: Thursday, May 10, 2012
