If you have an iPod Touch (and many of you do) there’s an easy way to keep up-​​to-​​date on go­ings on at Rhea County High School—subscribe to the RCHS cal­en­dar in your iPod’s Cal­en­dar app!

Here’s how to do it: fire up your iPod, tap the Sa­fari icon, and go to this spe­cial ad­dress: http://​rch​sea​glesnest​.org/​i​pod. Tap the Cal­en­dar app icon, and choose “Sub­scribe” from the pop-​​up di­a­log box. Af­ter a mo­ment, an­other pop-​​up will ask if you’d like to “view events” or if you’re “done.” Choose your poi­son; in any event, you’ll find the RCHS Cal­en­dar in a spe­cial “Sub­scribed” sec­tion next time you open your Cal­en­dar app.

The best part? Up­dates! Open­ing the RCHS Cal­en­dar in the Cal­en­dar app when you’re con­nected to a wi-​​fi net­work will up­date the cal­en­dar with the lat­est changes and ad­di­tions. Never won­der when re­port cards are com­ing out ever again!

The draw­back? This fancy link will only work with iPhone/​iPod soft­ware from ver­sion 3.0 and up—if you have an older iPod and haven’t up­dated the soft­ware, the link won’t work prop­erly. Sorry!
