First Winter Snow in Rhea County
Sat Dec 5, 2009—
Last night, Rhea County received a present. For the first time this winter, it snowed. Late Friday night, flurries started to fall from the sky and accumalated at least two inches on elevated surfaces. On Saturday morning, the two-inch snow was still there and was still slightly falling. However, this miraculous snow will not last for very long. Tonight the temperature is said to be 23-27° F, and may last the night. Tomorrow’s weather, however, having a high of 52°, will melt the snow and will abandon the idea of getting out of school on Monday.

Perfect snow for snow-angels! It was a pretty snow and I love your first line!
